My thought this morning is;

When people in a big city feel lonely, it doesn't mean they lack human companions, but human tenderness!

My thought for that day will therefore be:

Each feeling can be expressed by a smile: the smile of the mockingbird, the smile of stupidity, the smile of wisdom that is fine. That's why I can only get a pretty accurate idea of X or Y if I've seen how he smiles, hence the proverb: I made him laugh, I disarmed him!
